MEET THE FOUNDER

Bobbie Wade

Bobbie Wade, 26, is a Dallas, Texas native with a passion for empowering young women to navigate life’s most challenging moments. A proud graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, Bobbie founded Girls Beyond Grief to create a supportive community for young women who have experienced the loss of a parent.   Bobbie’s journey began after losing her father on February 13, 2020, during her senior year of college at just 21 years old. Struggling with feelings of loneliness, detachment, and a lack of relatability, she realized the profound need for a safe space where young women could feel seen, heard, and understood in their grief. Through Girls Beyond Grief, Bobbie is dedicated to nurturing and uplifting young women, ensuring they know they are not alone as they navigate their grief journey and embrace a brighter future.
